We work hard to collect only the data we need to enhance your experience in quantitative trading, geopolitical analysis, and market insights. When we do collect data, we believe it’s important for you to know what we’re collecting and why we need it, so you can make informed choices.

An Arakawa Account is the personal account you use to sign in to our terminal, manage your subscription tiers, and access exclusive financial intelligence. Your account includes the information you use to sign in, as well as the contact and security details you use across Arakawa Quant services.

Data We Collect and How We Use It

When you sign in with your Arakawa Account, we collect and use information to maintain and improve our institutional-grade analysis services. We do not process fiat/crypto deposits or conduct deposit verification. The data we collect is limited to:

• Identity & Contact Data: Your email address and/or phone number, primarily used for account security verification (such as secure sign-in) and sending you critical market and geopolitical alerts.

• Subscription & Service Status: Arakawa Quant operates on a tiered service model. Non-subscribed users are granted free access to our integrated open-source financial data (such as TradingView charting components). If you upgrade to a premium subscription, we record your subscription tier and authorization status to unlock advanced quantitative signals and in-depth market reports. We use secure third-party payment processors to manage subscriptions and do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

• Terminal & Device Data: When you access our analysis terminal, we collect basic device identifiers and IP addresses. This is strictly to ensure account security, prevent unauthorized account sharing, and optimize your data loading experience across different regions.

Data Security and Encryption

Arakawa Quant uses industry-leading security technologies to help secure your data. Your sign-in credentials are encrypted in transit and stored in an encrypted format. Our authentication and permission management systems are physically isolated from our core quantitative engine, ensuring the highest level of security for your personal identity data. No third party can access your personal information, except as necessary to provide the subscription services you requested.

Compliance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance

Arakawa Quant strictly adheres to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the “PDPO”).

1. Retention We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the original purposes for which it was collected, including maintaining your subscription services and account security. Once your Arakawa Account is permanently closed, we will take all practicable steps to permanently delete or anonymize your specific personal data in accordance with legal requirements.

2. Direct Marketing In accordance with Part 6A of the PDPO, Arakawa Quant will not use your personal data for direct marketing without your explicit consent (or indication of no objection). We may use your contact information to send you updates regarding new Arakawa Quant models, geopolitical analyses, or subscription offers. You can opt out of these promotional communications at any time, free of charge, via your account settings or the "unsubscribe" link in our emails.

3. Data Access and Correction Requests Under the PDPO, you have the statutory right to:

• Check whether we hold personal data about you;

• Request access to your personal data held by us; and

• Request correction of any inaccurate personal data.
